I Would Like to Introduce you to My Dear Friend, Her Name is Nimble (shes my bike)

She is the best bike ever - sorta squeaky, the tires deflate easily, kind of old, but I love her all the same. Shes been true to her name ever since my sweet little grandpa unexpectedly passed her on to me. And I am oh so grateful he did! :)

And now since I found a tripod to use, I get to take pictures on my bike ride to work! There are so many ideas swimming around in my head now, I just have to get up earlier so I can spend more time trying them out in the morning!

So here is my first attempt. I love the rows of (still green) trees we have. Nice and cool in the morning shade.

Isn't Nimble a beaut? Quite a cutie if I don't say so myself ;)

Thurley

Similar to Natalya's post, I too find many pretty things I would like to own but can't afford. This website I came across called Cate sells a brand called Thurley. These dresses, that are coming out soon, are inpired by the Great Gatsby and the roaring twenties. There are more dresses that I didn't post because I don't like how they were a little too 20's looking. I really like how the ones here can look modern without being too obviously 20's inspired. Get what I mean?
Anyways, they make me wish I had somewhere to wear them to, and the money to buy them! I especially love this white one with the embellished neckline (below).

thanks for the read! -kerri

If only I were wealthy.... EDITED :)

Well well well. Look what I found here. Not exactly the same, but pretty dang similar. Not exactly cheap, but cheaper.
Found them at DSW online on sale for $59.95.

And if you want to go a little more practical, I found this Zigi Soho El Stud Ballet Flat - it sort of has the same vibe, right? AND they are on sale for $9.94!! Found them at DSW online.

Meet the shoes I am longing to own:

They are $98 Colin Stuart's from Victoria's Secret, and they are perfection. From the way they shine and reflect the current caged-heel trend, to the fancy baubles placed delicately along their heel.... No, they are not the most expensive shoes ever, but they are way over my budget. If only I were wealthy...but then, I guess if I were wealthy I couldn't co-write this blog about inexpensive finds now could I .... So be it...

Top: Forever 21 $13
Jeans: Express $45
Necklace: Caitlyn $17
Shoes: Mervyns $Can't remember!

I wore this tunic in another post, but decided to wear it another way: tucked in so it looks like a blouse. Gotta be resourceful in these economic times!

God I love these shoes! I was at DSW with my Grandmother this weekend looking through the clearance aisle and these Coach shoes caught my eye. The looked so great, and I don't own anything designer, and I really wanted them but they were $50 which as you know is more than I am willing to spend! My grandmother bought them for me as my early Hanukkah gift! I'm such a lucky girl!

This lovely coctail ring added a pop of color to my black and white outfit

The new cut-out trend: a fashion Do or Don't?

Hello bloggers, I have a very important question for you. I want to know how you feel about the cut-out trend that's going on. Today I was shopping at H&M and tried on a pair of these daring leggings which were slashed all the way up and down the sides of the legs, from mid-thigh length down to the ankle and they were sure sexy, but felt like I was wearing langerie. Typically I don't like using the words "comfortable" and "practical" in my style vocabulary, but..... are they practical? And could I pull off looking sexy in a good way, and not trashy? I dont know. I didn't end up buying them although the dare-devil inside me wanted me too. I want to know what you guys think; are you daring enough to explore this trend? And are you able to pull off the look without looking trashy?
